WHAT IS THIS SERVICE?

Corporate Sign’s installation department has been installing signs for over 30 years. Our company has $5,000,000.00 in liability insurance. We can build any sign to your specifications to ensure a long lasting product that delivers your company’s message for years to come. Whether your sign is going on a fence, on-posts, in windows, or up 20 stories on a building, our installation department will strive to exceed your expectations for all installation projects!

WHAT IS THE PRICE OF THIS SERVICE?

Prices vary from $100 to add a slug to an existing sign to over $8000.00 for a giant Billboard or Hoarding.

WHAT IS THE TIMELINES FOR THIS SERVICE?

We strive to provide our installation service within 7 business days.*  Many signs are completed well before this.  Some signs that require customized installation methods like concrete “sonotubes” take slightly longer to install.

If your installation requires an MTO permit or ONTARIO ONECALL Locate, the 7 day timeframe begins once both approvals are completed. Corporate Signs applies for all permits and then manages these services by following up on your behalf, but the waiting time is outside of our control.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR THIS SERVICE?

We require some basic information like the approximate size of your sign, type of substrate it is mounted on, the configuration of the install that will best illustrate your message. Examples include V-shape, back to back, single sided or mounting on an existing structure. Finally, we require the address and location on the property itself. An illustration on GOOGLE maps works well to illustrate the location.

Regarding steps for MTO permits, please see our FAQ’s page!

HOW DOES YOUR SERVICE DIFFER FROM THE COMPETITION?

There are three separate factors that differentiate our company from most others.

  • We will not install a sign that requires a “LOCATE” unless it is complete and we have the paperwork on our truck from all the utilities to verify that the “LoCATE” has been properly completed. Compliance with government legislation is mandatory to avoid damage to buried infrastructure. Compliance also enhances public safety and reduces liability to repair expensive damage that can be caused by a simple METPOST pounded into the ground haphazardly. Fines range from $20,000.00 under the Occupational Health and Safety Act to up to $1,000,000.00 under the Electricity Act and Technical Standards and Safety Act. It is our belief that the few days saved is not worth the risk of putting you and your clients at risk of this potential liability.
  • We do not use MetPosts (metallic posts) to support our signs due to their limited capability to  level the sign or deal with differing softer soil conditions. Metposts are difficult to install and remove in the winter and are dangerous to landscapers and others when left behind. When hitting a large rock in a critical location the METPOST cannot be cut off like the TEE-BARs that we use.
  • We are one of the few companies that can produce, install, remove, refurbish and store your signs and then manage your inventory through our Sign Management System. (SMS)

*After all other requirement have been met…”LOCATES,” graphics, artwork, permits, property owner permission etc.
